Gailey Environmental LLC
36-HOUR WETLAND DELINEATION TRAINING
Training will be conducted from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM each day. Classes are limited to 12 participants. A course packet will be provided. At the end of training, students will be given a take home exam to complete and return to Gailey Environmental LLC.
Classroom: Days 1 and 3 Two days of training will take place in a classroom setting or live online. Field: Days 2 and 4 The field portion of the course will either take place on public land or private land where all property access approvals have been obtained. The field locations will be within 30 minutes of the registered class location. Please dress appropriately for the field (boots, long pants, etc.). If thunderstorms or other dangerous weather conditions are forecasted, we will make arrangements to switch an office day with a field day. If this needs to occur, we will give you as much advance notice as possible. Aside from that – hot, cold, wet or dry, field training will take place. Dress accordingly for the seasonal weather conditions, working in wetland environments, and be prepared to spend most of the day outside. Please bring a packed lunch for the field days. The recommended COVID-19 guidelines will be followed for all in person sessions. Additional information will be sent with registration. Note: Classroom and field training sessions that are scheduled to be held in person will follow state health and safety guidelines. Should these guidelines change and prohibit us from conducting any or all portions of training in person, arrangements will be made for alternate training dates, a virtual training option, or a refund will be given. Have questions? Please feel free to contact us.
